I went by the New Century Artists gallery tonight to go to an opening called Role Call; in fact, there was a role call downstairs, in the lobby, that looked like a real role call which played well with the rest of the show.

Unfortunately, while I saw some interesting work I could not match up the names of many of the artists with what is currently on the New Century Artist's site.   Since I can't match up names with pictures I saw (and I did not write anything down) - don't think I can talk much about what I saw.  The quality of most of the work was good - I just don't see work that knocks my socks off that often, and I did not see any of it tonight.

Would not mind joining the gallery as a member, at 300 dollars to join and 300 per show - the prices seem pretty reasonable but I'm not really ready to show any of my work formally right now, though I might in the near future.
