I could not find out much about the show except who’s in it – so here’s the info – but I think this is a good show to attend – and I had studied, a long time ago, with Sanford Wurmfeld, at Hunter College.

There are a lot of well known artists, dead and alive, in The Optical Edge - Here’s a list:

  1. [...] to see The Optical Edge at Pratt ManhattanGallery Wednesday [...]

  2. See opptg.blogspot.com for more information on this show and text of catalog essay by Robert C. Morgan. Also, don’t forget there’s also op shows at Jacobson Howard up at 72nd and Madison in Manhattan, and the first comprehensive overview of op art in decades at the Columbus Museum of Art in Ohio through June (sounds like a long way but only costs $39 each way to fly on Jet Blue; you can do it in a day).
