Visiting Paul Cezanne’s Studio and my first day in Aix-en-Provence
I made a movie of my video clips about the first day in Aix-en-Provence on Sunday, June 3rd, 2007. After walking around for a couple of hours I made my way to Paul Cezanne’s last studio and managed to touch his robe, cap and cane.  Well, in a hundred years more, the whole studio will be behind glass – but at least, now, you can still walk and interact, somewhat, with what remains of Cezanne’s final studio.
If you watch the online video till the end, you’ll get a treat – Catlin, one of my painting buddies, shows us why going on Marsha Wooley’s painting trips, via the community college she teaches at,  are such fun. Â
Marsha Wooley is also a wonderful art teacher, by the way, and I got a lot out of the couple of times she came over to me and looked at my work, as I was painting. She always seemed surprised and pleased with what I was doing – I like that. I had a wonderful time in Paris and Aix-en-Provence and it would never have happened except for her.Â
In fact, in case you don’t know it – a year ago, or so, I met Marsha Wooley in NYC (I did not know her before this) at her show opening and it’s out of my initial meeting and the contact I’ve had with her over the last year, that I did the Paris Trip at all.
So, in case I haven’t said it enough, Marsha, Thank You for a Wonderful Trip to Paris and Aix-en_Provence.
