Didn’t get a chance to write about it but I went over to see Ilana Simons read from her new book at Barnes and Nobles the other night; she was very warm to me and said she told all her friends about my earlier post on Ilana - A Life of One’s Own - Ilana Simons at Think Tank 3 - NYC.

Ilana speaks very well, and I got the feeling “A Life of One’s Own”  - A Guide to Better Living Through the Work and Wisdom of Virginia Woolf has some lessons for me about living with feelings, accepting them and not trying to solve them….but just accept it by facing and living with it.

I never really embraced Virginia Woolf but the name is familar to me - in Ilana’s Simons new book I feel I can accept, at my own speed, what lessons Virginia Woolf might have for me … and being that I have feelings I have to live with … live though…it’s welcome advice.
