The Art in Virtual Worlds, what i saw in Hollywood this week
I attended Virtual Worlds Hollywood this week and am inflight or just landed in Boston, an indirect way back to New York.
I posted a lot about what technology I saw at the show, but not about the great art I saw.
For one thing, I spoke with Boris, who worked on a virtual worlds art project called “Brooklyn is Watching” and I visited the real life gallery a few months ago in Brooklyn, you can find the boat and see the videos online at this blog.
Also, I noticed Virtual worlds used as a planning tool for architectual and disaster planning.
Interesting stuff.
