I went to Brooklyn Artists Gym for a figure drawing session, long pose.

Thoughts I had was I’m painting the world inside me, not the model.

Of course, it helps to have a model and it was good to be in that space, today.

But I also realize why I’m not there more often…art is a solitary passion and I like being with people.

Also, I am figuring out what the next step is, and I don’t know what it is yet. Maybe a change of medium and approach is needed, here.

Off to Dumbo today to meet one of my painter friends, and I could go to an east village art opening tonight, but I am not sure I will.

Finally, I like the quick stetches I do with the iPhone, they are suited to my short, ADD type, attention span, I just wish I had more control over the process.
