What if Art is The Journey & Painting with my IPhone
It helps me to frame life against larger trends, like what’s happening now.
I think medium isn’t important, I’m not even sure Art exists anymore, because it’s not just about the artist, the story of Art is also about the audience.
I think, based on today’s audiences, emotional connection to the artist along with the story behind the artist AND that’s manifested in the works viewed are more important than anything else.
By the way, while feeling sorts aimless today, as the world economy collapses and as many web start ups begin cutting back, I went to Prospect Park to empty my mind, and sketch.
Except, my sketch book is not used much lately, I find painting with my IPhone more satisfying and expressive.
And what if, as people change, and the artist is one if those, we change too, and what we do, changes?
If that’s true, then what stays the same?
I think it’s the Journey.
