Love & War – The Weaponized Woman @ FIT Museum
I made it over to the Fashion Institute of Technology Musuem tonight and went to see “Love & War” The Weaponized Woman. Here’s a note from the online catalog:
“Love & War: The Weaponized Woman takes an unprecedented look at the influence of armor and other military styles on fashion. But it’s not all chain mail and camouflage. Love & War is the first exhibition to suggest that modern women’s fashion is profoundly inspired by what might be called the discourse of silk and steel, as designers reference both armor and lingerie.”

A lot of interesting stuff in the FIT Museum- a couple of guards.
I was thinking there would be some other opening to go to tonight – but there was nothing in Chelsea so I gave up and went by myself to this this show.
It’s also Halloweeen and I wrote Last post for October – rant about Search Engine Halloween logos.
Time for bed – my eyes are about to close shut.
